Established in 2010, Aaradhya Foundation has emphasized on mainstreaming the dropouts and non-school going children. During our intervention we were able to enroll more than 150 students in our education centers and able to mainstream more than 50 students. These students are basically from BPL (Below Poverty Level) families and belong to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe community. The organization’s main focus is to supplement the governmental investment (under RTE Act, 2009) recognizing that primary education is principally the responsibility of the government. Aaradhya Foundation assists government in the optimal use of infrastructure and follows the state sponsored education. We have currently three Remedial Coaching Centers in remote areas of Jalpaiguri District.
